Meet The Therapists
Founder & Senior Therapist
Jessica Dash
My name is Jessica Dash, I am a Barbadian and a registered occupational therapist in Barbados. I graduated with honours from the University of Northampton in England, United Kingdom in 2016, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
I returned to Barbados and registered to practice with the Barbados Paramedical Professions Council. Since graduating I have worked as a privately-practicing paediatric therapist, working with children of all ages and a range of needs.
I have continued my professional development and education by completing several training programs related to sensory integration, neuro-motor development and self-regulation in children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and other diagnoses.
In April 2022, I received a postgraduate certificate in Sensory Integration with the Sheffield-Hallam University in the UK and qualified as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
Therapist
Hali Goddard
Hi there! My name is Hali Goddard, an occupational therapist passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
My journey began at Appalachian State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology, providing me with a strong foundation in human movement and behavior. Recognizing the profound impact of early intervention, I took a year off to work as a Behavior Technician, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and young adults with autism. This experience solidified my commitment to supporting children with developmental needs.
I furthered my education at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I earned my Master of Occupational Therapy. During my clinical rotations, I gained valuable experience in various settings, including a rewarding experience at Brenner Children's Hospital in acute care. In this setting, I honed my skills in conducting standardized assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing education to families.
Prior to returning to Barbados, I had the opportunity to work as a school-based occupational therapist in the United States. This experience allowed me to understand the unique challenges faced by children in educational settings and develop effective strategies to support their academic and social success.
I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the children of Barbados and look forward to working with families to help their children thrive.
